Frequently Asked Questions

How do I enrol my child?

Please use the enquiry form to send an email to check for a place.  If you are offered a place, you will then be directed to our online enrolment system.

Places are limited and will be held on a first come first served basis.  However, only when a completed form and payment is received in full, is your child’s place guaranteed.

Payment method is the GOCardless payment provider through our enrolment system.

What should my child wear?

Leotards for girls are preferable but not mandatory.  They can be sourced easily on-line (www.equipmygym.ie is a reputable Irish brand) or dance world in Ranelagh. If you don't have one then children may wear a fitted t-shirt, shorts or leggings.
Boys can wear cuffed tracksuit or shorts and a fitted t-shirt. Socks may not be worn during the class, however grip socks (jump zone style) or special gym shoes may be worn.

No jewellery of any kind may be worn.

Hair must be tied up neatly.

What should my child bring?

Your child can bring a bottle of water (please label your child’s bottle).

Where are you based?

We are based in Gaelscoil Shliabh Rua on Ballyogan Road, Sandyford, Dublin 18.

What is the structure of the class?

Please see our classes page.

May I speak to my child’s Gymnastics Coach?

We ask that you don’t approach coaches who are taking a class.  Please wait until the beginning or end of the class.  If you need to discuss anything at length, please email and we can arrange a phone call or another suitable time to talk as we do not want to disrupt your child’s gymnastics class.

Can I stay and watch my child’s class?

We have no viewing gallery and classes may not be watched. From our experience we have learnt that your child will settle in more quickly and be safer if they are not focusing on you watching them.  You will get an opportunity at the end of the year to see your child’s progress.
